// Beda Wachter
Born and Raised in Alberta, Canada Lynne has had a lifelong passion for horses. In her younger years she won many championships and awards including the Western Regional CET medal twice, and representing Canada in the North American Young Riders Championships. Tapping into her technical - North American riding style, Lynne has enjoyed a successful showjumping career full of accolades and competing at all levels including FEI.
Lynne's love of the sport goes beyond the ring, as she strives to share her passion and approach with others through coaching and training. It is this passion that lead Lynne to found Concorde Stables in 1999, and since then she has helped riders realize their dreams from fundamentals to podium. She has delivered countless championships and establishing herself as a leader in the International equestrian community.
Pooling the resources and program behind Concorde Stables into the newly reorganized Wachter Horses organization provides the Wachter horses team incredible support.
Lynne has a secondary education in Business Management which, combined with her work ethic, dedication, and expertise, provides Wachter Horses with a thoughtful co-owner to further drive results.
Raised in Switzerland, Beda Wachter was riding and competing in Europe at an early age. His early career was initially with his family’s livestock and dairy business, and in 1997 Beda and his parents, Kurt and Irene, relocated to Canada to open a large dairy operation in Innisfail, AB. However, Beda’s heart remained with the horses, and in 1999, with the support of his family, his focus shifted to pursue his equestrian ambitions.
For over 20 years Beda has worked tirelessly to build a internationally recognized boarding, training, breeding and sales operation with strong ties to the European markets.
Leveraging his European riding style, Beda competes across Canada and internationally at the Grand Prix level. With the deepest understanding of horses and care Beda brings a unique ability to coach riders from the "horse's" perspective.
Beda's expert knowledge of equestrian operations combined with a long career in the sport of showjumping, delivers Wachter Horses with a solid co-owner for continued growth and success.

How we work
Lynne and Beda work as a cohesive team with the support of their experienced staff to provide a full-service horse and rider program. Having two coaches means riders get all the support they need at home and at shows.
