Wachter Horses
Wachter Horses is a family farm with new barns, pastures, a grass ring, a sand ring, stallion station, youngstock facility, quarantine facilities, and numerous riding trails all situated on 700 acres in Central Alberta.
A fully heated indoor riding hall was completed in 2002 with 25 large stalls and a 75' x 180' arena, indoor hotwalker, treadmill, motorized manure removal system, and many more state of the art features.
An additional barn is now available to serve as a foaling and youngstock barn. The facilities are European style and the majority of the systems has been imported from Europe.
Wachter Horses is proud to offer a top quality facility and services to the North American breeder and competitor.
Recent News
April 2012. Beda and his team are busy getting ready for our outdoor season. Beginning in May we will start with Spruce Meadows following by Rocky Mountain Show Jumping and Thunderbird, BC.
March 2012. Thermal 2012 was a big sucess for Beda with his horses. WH Special Agent Sunset started for the first time in the 1.4m and placed 1st and 2nd.
WH Contagious was competing in the 1.3m and placed with clear rounds.
Voilastar placed in the 1.3m and 1.4m devision.
WH Carthago Sun III was for the first time in the 1.6m . He placed at the World Cup Qualifier.
January brings a new year and a new show season for Wachter Horses. Beda will be traveling to sunny California for the HITS Thermal show. Beda and the team will be at Thermal showing for the majority of the month of February, we wish him and the rest of the WH team best of luck!
